Dou Sheng Buddha is one of the famous "35 Buddhas" in Buddhism. "35 Buddhas" refer to the 35 Buddhas who live in all the worlds of the ten directions, including Shakyamuni Buddha and the Zhantan Merit Buddha who was conferred the title of Tang Monk. The main manifestation of the Buddha's victory in battle is reflected in the three words of struggle, war, and victory. According to the literal meaning in Chinese, struggle is struggle, war is war, and victory is victory. When these three words are connected, it means that the Buddha who wins in all struggles and battles is a Buddha's position that can only be obtained through strength, and ordinary people cannot fulfill it.
In the novel "Journey to the West", Sun Wukong experienced ninety-nine and eighty-one difficulties and was finally honored as the Buddha of Dou Sheng. His place of appointment was at the Dalei Yin Temple in the Lingshan Mountains of Tianzhu, which is the boundary of Xiniu Hezhou (not the Earth) and belongs to artistic creation and description.
